Great Alaska Sportsmen’s Prayer Breakfast – Soldotna, AK May 5th, 2012
Looking forward to being together with you for the Great Alaska Sportsmen’s Prayer Breakfast at the Soldotna Sports Center! Thanks for your desire to help us promote the Sportsmen’s Prayer Breakfast! We are continuing to contact pastors and church leaders to invite their participation in the breakfast.
Our keynote speaker, Johnny McCoy, from North Pole was gruesomely attacked by a Brown Bear a few years ago while moose hunting with a friend and subsequently featured on OLN Television along with an article in Outdoor Life magazine detailing the experience. Please confirm your schedule to see if you can join us for the prayer breakfast on Saturday, May 5th at 7:00am at the Soldotna Sports Center.

Bringing Hope to the Next Generation of Alaska’s Youth
Men along with their sons (or other family members and friends) are invited to join with sportsmen from the lower forty-eight states for an exciting eight day/seven night all inclusive wilderness camp experience in Great Land Alaska! Join with a group team from your home church or just come to meet new friends as CSF Master Sportsmen share some incredible stories and teaching sure to challenge your vision for your family and our nation. Several strategic construction projects are scheduled for completion in partnering with Alaska Native Ministries and outreach events across the state. You will be challenged to pass the Christian heritage down to the next generation as we travel together on our adventure journey in Climbing Legacy Mountain!
“Men are reclaiming their spiritual influence as fathers and husbands in using CSF’s metaphor of Climbing Legacy Mountain together with their sons and daughters” Richard Jordan
Reaching both Alaska Native and Non-Native Families
Tragically, the Alaska Native population has the highest suicide rate in the nation especially prevalent among teenagers. Attempts to address this spiritual void have been well meaning through government programs such as enhanced public school funding but with very little effect. The compassion of Christ Jesus extended to men and their families demonstrates God’s love in a real and powerful way! The process of modeling the life of Christ while mentoring and teaching through the father/son (daughter) team approach has already begun!
Great memories are made with a son or father while building cabins and traveling together in Alaska, the Last Frontier! Evening FIRESIDE events will feature Alaska celebrities such as Lt. Gov. Loren Leman, Alaska Christian College president Keith Hamilton, Retired Delta Force Tactician Lonnie White, etc. Bruce Witt, co-authur of “Leadership: The Ultimate Adventure”, will share many transformational teachings during our morning devotionals.
Registration is only $995 per person and includes ground transportation, meals, lodging, speakers, workshops, and more. Sons or daughters who are 16 and under can register for only $750.
